I come from a family of knitters inspired by the prolific knitter, Morticia, of the original Addams Family television show.
A trained engineer and high school pre-engineering teacher, I enjoy using my knitting skills to create designs that focus on simple, clear solutions to knitting challenges.
My designs can be found on Ravelry (username "Topazzi") and on the Knit Picks website where I am an independent designer.

Lace Sampler Poncho
A truly unique, but simple design for a versatile convertible poncho/wrap that’s suitable for knitters of all experience levels! It can be worn as a:
- Poncho
- Wrap/shawl
- Skirt
Each of two pieces is worked flat with a cutout for the neck/waist opening. The two pieces are connected together on one side with a 3-needle BO and buttons on the other, giving the ability to wear the garment closed (as a poncho or skirt) or open (as a wrap or shawl).
